What You’ll Do As the Medical Records Director , you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and efficiency of our medical records system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the management and maintenance of medical records in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to streamline documentation processes.
- Monitoring and auditing records for accuracy and completeness.
- Training and supervising staff involved in medical records management.
- Staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring organizational compliance.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical records management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of medical records systems, HIPAA regulations, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership abilities to guide and support a team.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
