Huge Potential.

Traditional means of monitoring traffic such as using cameras elevated by a pole are now being replaced by drones due to their enormous potential. We partner with Data From Sky to provide automated data extraction and analysis of our recorded aerial videos.

How does it work?

Once you get in touch with a location that you need traffic monitoring for, we first go over the location and discuss vantage points and provide a quotation. Once you are happy to proceed, we come out and take the aerial video at our agreed location and vantage points. Once the video is down, we take care of the video-finishing, this includes noise reduction, sharpening and any other general video post-processing required. We then either send it to our partners at Data From Sky or use the light platform ourselves, depending on your needs to get the video analysed and ready for you to view.

Data from Sky is a leading traffic analysis provider. It is used by many universities, research institutions or traffic engineers and planners worldwide. Working with Data From Sky allows us to provide complete and detailed telemetry data for:

complete object trajectories (time + position + speed + acceleration in coordinate system UTM or WGS84) – browsing in program or export to XSL, CSV & AutoCAD

classification of all objects into 7 main categories (including bicycles and pedestrians)
vehicle counts via counting gates
OD matrix/turn count in defined directions – color overlay, detailed excel report
speed and acceleration anywhere in the scene, heatmaps
critical headway (gap) and follow-up headway
